Inked

Yesterday, the wife and I headed over to Exposed Temptations to get tattooed. This was my fourth sessions and I'm hoping that my next session will be my last. If you can't tell by the picture, it's a full half sleeve. On the outside of my arm, it's a picture of two koi fishes with a devil's face on my under arm. I'm still debating on what color the second fish is going to be, but I'm leaning towards green. Since my tattoo artist is so busy, my next appointment isn't unitl the end of June. But Greg, my tattoo artist, invited me to the National Tattoo convention next month in N.C. so he can finish it. It's a five hour drive so I'm still deciding on that.

To my surprise, my wife started thinking about getting a tattoo when she heard I had an appointment coming up. For two days she was banging her head against the wall until she finally came up with the perfect idea. She ended up getting the word "Serenity" tattooed on her wrist. You might not think it's nothing special, but it's written in "Baybayin". Apparently, baybayin is the pre-Spanish Philippine writing system. The symbols of this language is simply beautiful. Since she got her tattoo done, all she can think about is getting another. I think someone is hooked!!
