Obituary 

Lieutenant Commander Jimmy Lewis 

LCDR Jimmy Lewis was born the 13^th of 15 children on September 3^rd1952 in Elizabethtown, North Carolina to the late Martha and Gaston Lewis.  He is a 1971 graduate of Elizabethtown High School.  Jimmy also held a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New York and a Master of Science degree in Public Administration from the Central Michigan University.  He was united in Holy Matrimony to Shay Lin of Taipei Taiwan in August 1978.  They were the loving parents of 3 children.   He joined the United States Navy on 28 November 1972 and remained on active duty for 27 years, retiring in July 1999.  While in the Navy, Jimmy’s travels included Australia, the Philippines, Naples Italy, Honolulu Hawaii, Japan, Taiwan, Haiti, Canada, Thailand, and Guam. Having joined the Navy as an E1, Jimmy quickly climbed thru the ranks making E7.  Realizing his leadership, management and technical skills, the Navy promoted him to the Officers ranks where he held titles of Technical Control Officer, Staff Communications Officer, Network Operations Manager and Director of Communications, Telecommunications Operations Officer, and Telecommunications Branch Chief.  His military awards include: 

• Three Defense Meritorious Service Medals
• Two Joint Service Achievement Medals
• Two Navy Achievement Medals
• Two Navy Commendation Medals
• Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist Insignia

 Raised in a Christian home, Jimmy accepted Christ as his savior early in life. He was a faithful member of Capital Community Church (CCC).  Jimmy was also Head Usher at CCC. Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife, Shay, three wonderful children, Sandra Lewis of Sacramento, CA; Dexter Lewis of Leesburg, VA, and Tiffany (William) Figueroa of Leesburg, VA, Godson, Reginald Dexter Keeton of Jacksonville, FL, two grandchildren, Jaydelyn and Sonnee.   Four sisters:  Maggie Lewis and Sarah Singletary of Elizabethtown, NC, Ethel Evans of Bladenboro, NC, Sherby Lewis of Upper Marlboro, MD; six brothers: James Lewis (Kathryn) of Elizabethtown, NC, Thomas Lewis (Lucille) of Washington, DC, Edward Lewis (Gloria) of Temple Hill, MD, Arthur Lewis (Sarah) of Temple Hill, MD, Carl Lewis (Frankie) of Goldsboro, NC, Cleveland Lewis of Madison,GA, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Relatives and Friends. 

I want a love that makes me wait until she falls asleep and then wonder if she's dreaming about us being in love, type love, or who loves the other more, or what she's doing at this exact moment, or slow dancing in the middle of our apartment to the music of our hearts, closing my eyes and imagining how love could hurt so much when she's not there, shit, I know not where this love is headed type love.

Check this, I want to post those little posted notes all around the house, so she doesn't forget how much I love her type love. And not having enough ink in my pen to write all the loves type love. And hope that I make her feel as good as she makes me feel and I wanna do with my friends, making fun of me, the way I made fun of them when they went through same kind of love type love. The only difference is, this is one of those real loves type loves. And just like high school, I want to spend hours on the phone without saying shit, and then fall asleep and wake up with her right next to me and smell her all up in my covers type love. I wanna try counting the ways I love her and loose count in the middle just so I would have to start all over again. I want to celebrate those one month anniversary’s even though they aren't really anniversary’s, but doing it just because it makes her happy type love.

Check this, I wanna fall in love with the melody the phone plays when her number is dialed in to her type love, and talk to you until I loose my breathe, she leaves me breathless, but with the expanding of my lungs, inhale all of her back into me. I want a love that makes me change my cell phone calling plan to something that allows me to talk to you longer, cause in all honesty, I want to avoid one of those high cell phone bill type loves. I want a love that makes me regret how small my hands are, I mean the lines on my palm don't give me enough time to love as long as I'd like to type love. Wanna love that makes me stu-stu-stu-stutter just thinking about how strong this love is type love. I want a love that makes me cut off all my hair. Well, maybe not all my hair, maybe like I'll cut the split ends and trim my mustache, but it will still be a symbol of how strong my love is for her.

I kind of feel comfortable now, I'll even be fantasizing about walking out in a green light, just dieing to get hit by a car, just so I could loose my memory, get transported to some third world country just to get treated and some how meet up with you again, so I could fall in love in a different language and see if it still feels the same type love. I want a love that is unexplainable as she is....

My car is also entered in theMach V Mega Colossal Meet & Charity Car Show IV on August first and I'm expecting to do well. It's not a huge car show, but it's for charity, so what can I say. Oh, if you're wondering what the lights are going to look like, check out the youtube video below. It should set my car apart from all the other Evo's in the area. Peace!

On a happier note, I found out that my mirrors left Japan a couple days ago and should be stateside by next week. I also picked up a bottle of gran patron platinum tequila for my birthday. I've had other types of patron before, but never the platinum. It better be worth it as it's $200 a bottle.

I got to Mach V pretty late. Most of the cars had left by then and the only people that were left were the ones waiting to go on the dyno. The car ended up doing 259HP 7 262TQ, which I don't think is that bad considering I only have a catback exhaust. I'll throw some pics from the dyno in the gallery and you can watch my pull below. By the way, Star Trek is a movie definitely worth seeing!!!

Technology

The Z10's frame is hand crafted from seamless, 3-2.5 aerospace-grade titanium.

Tapered rear struts. They are angled towards each other, placing them in tension. This makes the chair laterally stiffer, further rigidizing the frame and enhancing responsiveness.

The new backrest hinge integrates seamlessly into the frame tube, creating the illusion of a single, continuous tube flowing from the backrest to the footrest. This hinge locks in the open position and in the closed position. From the closed position, the chair may be lifted conveniently from the backrest. 

TiLite's new single-sided fork integrates with the Bullet Caster Housing.

Aesthetics

All carbon fiber components are tinted to match the selected anodize color.

Custom Spinergy LX wheels are all black with spoke anchors accented to match the selected anodize color

Tattos show case titanium by permanently imprinting one of three unique graphic patterns onto the titanium: Flora and Fauna, Skulls and Flames, or Circular Retro.

Lastly, every Z10 is fitted with a water jetted titanium serial number indicating it's position within the limited edition of 110.

Why the Z10? Sure, I could get a less expensive chair that would get the job done and could probably get it covered by insurance. I know it's an accessory for my ass and if I can afford, then why not? The build time is about 4 weeks, so I hope to have it in the beginning of June. So, I have 1 of 110. That only leaves 109, bitches!!! Peace!
